We are the custom furniture builders of tomorrows fine antiques. We specialize in high quality Shaker and Mission style furniture. As custom furniture makers, we use only the finest materials available for the construction of your furniture. If you are not familiar with Shaker or Mission style furniture, our customer service department would be glad to explain the virtues of these styles. Our furniture is the same type and quality furniture you will find in Thos. Moser and Stickley furniture catalogs, and we dare anyone to match our guarantee.

Here are some of the details that make our high quality, solid wood, Shaker and Mission style furniture the best you will find anywhere.

We use only solid wood.
Veneer is used only for the effect of highly figured or prized woods.
Drawers are dovetailed and made of 1/2" thick wood vs. the normal standard of 3/8" thick. This adds 1/3 more wood to the drawers. Our drawer bottoms are also solid wood, not plywood.
Drawers are side hung and center guided, which keeps the drawer from moving from side to side. This allows the drawer to move freely under heavy loads.
Cabinet backs are made of 1/2" thick ship lapped boards. WE DO NOT USE ANY PLYWOOD!
We hand fit every door and drawer for proper placement. We also number each door and drawer to ensure a precise fit.
We use mortise and tenon construction on chairs and face frames for a rock solid joint. We do not use dowels, which tend to loosen up after a few years. Our furniture is made to endure.
Our doors are made of solid wood, rails and styles are 7/8" thick and door panels are 3/4" thick. You will not find a better built door.
We sell our furniture typically for 15% to 40% less than our competitors like Thos. Moser or Stickley. We never run sales, because we will not mark up prices to have a sale and mark them down. We can offer the same quality for less because we don't have the fancy catalogs or showroom expenses of some of our larger competitors. When you visit us you will find a small shop with pieces in progress and a few samples of our work. True Old World craftsmanship and quality at a price you can live with.
OUR GUARANTEE - We guarantee your furniture for life. If we didn't deliver the best quality we can, we couldn't offer this type of guarantee. If you are not completely satisfied with any Northeast Mantles product, we will replace it within 30 days of purchase. Beyond that, should our furniture fail at any time during the lifetime of the original owner because of workmanship or material, we will either repair or replace it. We extend this lifetime guarantee to any purchase made after 1998. Some customer requested modifications may be excluded.
BONUS FEATURE - TRADE INS: We don't know of anyone else that does this - if your needs change, or if you decide to re-decorate with a different theme, you will love this. We will buy back your original purchase at anywhere from 20% to 50% of your original purchase price and credit that amount towards the purchase of new furniture from us. Your own built in inflation hedge!
